The Magic of Nature: Healing with Essential Oils
This week we’re launching a six-week long blog session on essential oils. Derived from plants, essential oils are 100% natural oils with amazing healing properties. In their truest form, essential oils are incredibly potent and therefore are often diluted with carrier oils such as grapeseed, sweet almond, olive, and wheat germ to name a few. There are a large variety of essential oils that heal a multitude of physical, emotional, and even mental issues.
For this series I will be covering six common types that work particularly well all year round. They are: Lavender, Tea Tree, Eucalyptus, Basil, Lemongrass, and Patchouli. I will be going over common uses of oils, methods of using oils, recommended products, and which oils are safe for children. Stay tuned this week as we discuss the Purple Power of Lavender!
