Return of the Blog: A New Blessing
Hello everyone and welcome back! I wanted to give you a quick update as to where I have been. I was recently blessed with a beautiful little girl back in June! She is truly a gift from God and one that I am thankful for every minute. I have been unable to write as I am currently recovering from surgery (more on that later).
I wanted to share something that has amazed me since the birth of my daughter. I am totally amazed by just how strong little babies truly are. For the last four weeks I have been struggling to recover from a C-section while my little girl has been flourishing. I have ups and downs throughout the day while she seems content 95% of the time (I know I’m lucky about that). It still takes great effort for me to move around while she is quickly strengthening all of her tiny muscles. At times I lose patience with being cooped up inside while she waits patiently to discover the world beyond our walls. So on the days when I feel down about the progress, I simply turn to my daughter and gain inspiration of her internal strength.
